Visited Artes Mundi 7 on its penultimate day. Felt inspired and immersed.

In reality it would be horrific having a large city at Cadair Idris. But lying on beanbags infront of the painting, listening to the artist talk, I felt strangely soporific.
Space, colour and always returning to the sea in John Akomfrah’s film gives a sense of transience, drifting and displacement. An absorbing winning installation.
